Episode 1 - The Intro
In this debut episode, I introduce my new podcast, Talk Story with Takiue. I was born, raised, and lived in Hawaii for the first 45 years of my life and we never went to networking events or scheduled 1-on-1 connecting calls. We would get together and talk story. Talking story could happen anywhere and anytime. Running into each other at the store or walking back to you car after a meeting (and spending another hour in the parking lot talking story). Talking story is always a time for catching up, getting inspired, and moving into action.
In the podcast, I share a little of my backstory in Hawaii. Many of my friends that I’ve made in the past four years may not know too much about what life was like for me back in Hawaii. I also talk about what kind of guests I’m looking for - people who understand the power of their stories and those who just can just casually drop insight and wisdom without realizing it.
